If you’re looking for something to read over Winter Break, here’s the list you’ll need. It includes some of my faves that I’ve read over vacations in the past. Hopefully, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes – It’s a sequel to You, last year’s hit mystery. No worries, you can read them in order or as stand alone books.
The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman – Get lost in this historical fiction tale about the artist Camille Pissarro.
All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven – Fans of YA fiction will love this wonderful story of finding yourself and the beauty of friendship.
Pretending To Dance by Diane Chamberlain – Wonderful story of how a lie and past secrets will always haunt you. Women’s Fiction at its finest.
Once We Were Brothers by Ronald H. Balson – A current day legal thriller with a historical link to the Holocaust. Great story.
What The Lady Wants by Renee Rosen – You’ll travel to Chicago during the Gilded Age and most specifically the life of Delia Caton, the illicit lover of Marshall Field.
The Lost Girls by Heather Young – One of this year’s hottest mysteries that kept me up late into the night.
Defending Jacob by William Landay – Legal thriller that highlights what happens when an assistant D.A. finds his own 14 year old is charged with murder.
Golden Boy by Abigail Tarttelin – Wonderful story that will keep you rooting for the main character while asking yourself, “What would you do?”.
These Is My Words by Nancy E. Turner – Have to add one of my all time faves on this list. American history, family and romance are at the heart of this beautiful book. Keep tissues handy!
