The Housemaid by Freida McFadden was recommended to me by many readers on my Tell Me What Youโ€™re Reading Tuesday post every week. Iโ€™m only a fan of thrillers if theyโ€™re not too scary. I knew this one would end okay because I saw there was a sequel.

ย This book is told from three POVs, first from Millie, the housemaid, then from Nina, Millieโ€™s employer, and then finally a culmination, if you will. It was fun to see what the characters were thinking during each of their parts, especially as to why they were acting as they were.

I saw most of the twists coming but it didnโ€™t hinder my reading experience. This book oozes crazy and makes the reader not sure who to trust. The gardener was an interesting character too. I could see him getting his own book.

Fans of domestic thrillers will eat this one up!
