Honestly I wanted more from this book. I learned quite a lot which I always enjoy doing while I read but for this book it happened at the expense of seeming quite dry.
I still gave this book 3 stars because the author did a fine job of interweaving the historical story of Ann Eliza Young with the current day tale of Jordan Scott. I’m often intrigued by the polygamy style of living and find myself reading about it with my mouth agape. I just have to remember, “that’s why they make chocolate and vanilla,” there’s something for everyone.
