springbreak2018

I’ve gathered up a list of books that would make great reads over Spring Break. There are a variety of genres so hopefully there’s something for everyone! I included mostly new titles but added a few oldies for fun. All books are linked to Amazon to make purchasing them easy; and in case you’re wondering, yes, your prime account works when you are linked to Amazon.

Have a great time whether you’re staying in or traveling.

 Happy Reading!!

As Bright As Heaven by Susan Meissner – Historical fiction in the midst of the Spanish Flu epidemic

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine – Full on psychological thriller.

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah – Harrowing tale of family in the Alaskan bush.

The Memory Of Us by Camille Di Maio –  Historical fiction and romance.

Young Jane Young by Gabrielle Zevin – Contemporary story with scandal and heart. Quick read.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – YA realistic fiction that focuses on race.

Beartown by Fredrik Backman –  Better than Friday Night Lights but with hockey. Encouraging and emotional.

The Good Goodbye by Carla Buckley – Suspense filled mystery.

This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel – Sensitive realistic fiction about a transgender child.

Educated by Tara Westover – This is the “it” memoir of 2018.

An American Marriage by Tayari Jones – This year’s Oprah pick. Need I say more.

Next Year In Havana by Chanel Cleeton – Dual storylines bring the romance & history of Cuba to life.
