My Review: 3 stars
The Angel Makers is an unforgettable book that borders on frightening as it’s underlying plot. I found the story idea interesting and wish the author gave more details in her author’s notes, acknowledgments or preface about the “true” circumstances on which this book is based. The main character has a unique coming of age during the early 1900’s while her betrothed is at war. Friendship, secrets, magic and old wive’s tales abound throughout this book.
