GBF Tuesday posts are a must read, and may be the only good thing on Facebook!
I celebrate and brag about my TBR list. It’s all due to YOU!!! Your website is an official site where you can search for a book and look up comments (it’s like my community website when I need a plumber). I always say – GBF Tuesday posts are a must read, and may be the only good thing on Facebook!

It’s so inspiring to see someone who so loves what she does.
Lauren was terrific. Needless to say I took notes and was happy to have all her recommendations and book news. It’s so inspiring to see someone who so loves what she does. I couldn’t help thinking if she had taught school what a privilege it would be to be in her classroom!

Three Cheers for The Good Book Fairy!
If you are looking for an engaging, informative moderator for your next community read, I highly recommend Lauren Margolin, The Good Book Fairy. Lauren recently led our school district’s parent discussion of “If It’s Not One Thing It’s Your Mother.” Due to her fabulous reputation as a lover of books and her witty personality, we had our largest attendance. Lauren was able to provide so much perspective she easily entertained the group even those who did not finish the community read. The audience left feeling enriched and with a list of books that matched their interest.

From thoughtful reviews, carefully written without spoilers, to suggestions for what to read if you liked a particular book, an excellent newsletter, an active Facebook page where other followers weigh in on what they’re reading, and much more, The Good Book Fairy has it all. Lauren engages the audience…
I have been lucky enough to hear Lauren Margolin (aka Good Book Fairy) speak on more than one occasion. She offers the rare combination of intelligence, passion, and humor to her review of books. Lauren engages the audience and promotes lively discussions. Her book reviews are psychologically savvy and yet relatable to readers of all kinds. I strongly recommend her for any speaking engagements.

As a book lover, the one site I cannot live without is goodbookfairy.com. The website is my “go to” site for all for my book recommendations. The Good Book Fairy is an invaluable resource for book reviews, suggestions, compilations of “favorites”, author and book updates, and everything else a reader could desire in the world of books. Lauren’s passion for reading is contagious…
Lauren has provided valuable and innovative programming at our library’s annual book club event. She’s provided our patrons with fresh ideas to keep their book clubs going strong. Plus, patrons had the opportunity to exchange favorite books through a fun and interactive “speed dating” activity. Lauren’s passion for reading is contagious with everyone who meets her.

Local blogger the Good Book Fairy shares 20 books that will make you laugh
March 24, 2020
As a full-time book blogger, reviewer and speaker, I’ve read hundreds and hundreds of books. I’ve been encouraging everyone who is able to follow the charge to stay home, self-quarantine and practice social distancing to read a book. Now, with Gov. Pritzker’s mandate to “stay at home,” reading is even more important. Why? Because it’s pure escapism.
